Program

The Italy Family Stay program is the perfect opportunity to learn Italian through total immersion in the Italian culture. Participants stay with a host family that will consider them as an active family member. The goal of this program is not to follow an Italian language course, but to learn the language through living the everyday life of an Italian family. An authentic insight into the Italian lifestyle!

Accommodation & meals

Participants stay with a host family, in a private room with full board.

Arrival

The transfer is not included but can be arranged. If the participant is under 18 years old, the transfer is mandatory.

Terms of participation

• Participants must be minimum 14 years old
• Have a basic knowledge of Italian
• Take the program seriously, be motivated and respect family rules
• Have travel insurance covering sickness, accidents, repatriation, and third party liability

Financial Terms

Included: host family search, screening and placement process - accommodation and meals as described - activities as described - local program support - administrative fees - various taxes

Not included: round trip transportation - transfer (mandatory if under 18 years old) - personal expenses - travel insurance - passport fees
