A unique group 3-week expedition that allows students to experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Arizona, while living like a “local” with an American host family and learning about the desert environment and its environmental issues of heat waves, wildfires and drought.

Program Attractions |
- 2-day trip to Grand Canyon National Park (one of the World's Seven Wonders) to meet with park rangers and learn about their restoration projects.
- 2-day trip to beautiful Sedona with visits to the state parks to learn about desert defenders and park ecosystems.
- 3-day camping trip to Petrified National Forest in New Mexico to learn about eco-tourism, safe camping, and wilderness survival skills.

The Program cost includes airport transfers, placement with the host family, three meals per day at home, activities per agenda, medical insurance, support of the Local Coordinator and the National Office.
